Just curious..what is going to happen IF and only IF YRC goes under? We do not have the space, trucks, trailers, or man power to handle anymore freight. We cant handle what we got. The camels back is ready to break, another piece of straw, its going to break. Last night, out of our barn our last guys shoed up between 3:30 and 4"00 am. I was number 1 to my FAC and didnt reach it till 3:30. Better planning is needed at CGO and at the terminals themselves. And did anybody else notice that things have gotten worse since CGO had the bright idea of hiring college grads instead of people that worked in this industry and know their arse from the in hole their head? I also thought management was to listen more to the drivers. Has anybody noticed if this is happening anywhere?

Well they forced out all of the management that know the trucking industry.Replaced them with collage grads and CF management. What do you expect, Look what they did to CF, history repeats itself.

maybe you should pick up the pace and be more careful handling freight
The employee givebacks as stated on the investor conference call are between $10 to $15 million a month, and the video said we made $22 million in the quarter. What happened to the other at least $8 million we employees gave this quarter? well just maybe the company wants you to pay your share in it's lower bottom line
amazingly the company cries the blues and it still is profitable to the tune of 100 mil per year
i guess they got used to the 300+ mil in the past
Does anyone here really believe we will ever see a 91 OR quarter again? I don't. You cannot blame all this on the economy either, we did not have to grow at all costs and give our hard earned pricing premium away trying to get YRC to fold and in the process pay the invoices on those 800+ rented trailers out there.
I do not understand the game plan for going forward because it does not seem like we have one. The values are gone, no sense of teamwork, this is just a job. Nothing more. you are on a need to know basis and guess what you do not need to know
It did not used to be this way. | life's a ***** isn't it |
