Default Rumor or some truth to this?

I have heard from 3 different sources now that Dayton is either selling or being forced out by another big LTL carrier.

I really doubt it, they just signed a three year lease on our terminal.
Maybe in a few years when they retire, also i think they would pass it down to another
family member. To much gossip, if you'll notice nobody gossips or complains at DAYTON,
BUNCH OF HAPPY CAMPERS!!!!!!!

i don't think any company is buying anybody else right now anyway.just thought i would pass on what i had seen.what i can say is some are expanding into bigger buildings while they are less expensive as well as opening new terminals.i say this because OD has done both in a big way over the last three or four months.

Forced out.......its a private company the only way to force out is put out of business by predatory pricing and the balance sheets of these public companies are in no shape for predaotory action.......the debt at the public companies would make the bankers laugh if they wanted money to buy another carrier. What is needed is for some of the more poorly mananged public companies to go down. Too many trucks chasing too little freight. The discounts our there are out of control. Rumors are easy to dispel when you know the fundamentals.
