Default Dohrn - Good or bad?

Any information on this company would be great. Considering employment, and I am not sure how the drivers, dock, and manaagment feel about this company. Good or bad tell me what you think of the company?

Thanks

from what I have heard, they are on the bottom 'tier' of company's as far as pay, there is a Dohrn yard less than 10 miles from my home.I knew a former TM for them, and he left because Corp. would not stand up for the workers when they were right. Also got tired of all the worn-out equipment they were forced to use. Any relatively new stuff is based at Rock Island Ill yard, so owner dosen't have pass a broke-down Dohrn on his way home.

I have only talked to one of their drivers but from what he told me their top pay is less then our starting pay at FedEx Freight. I believe they are the house carrier for John Deere so if they ever lose that contract they might have some real problems

If you're not afraid of work, it's a good place to be. They've treated my husband well, and they worked with us when he was unable to drive for a while.

Best Friend drives for the Janesville office. He's in his sixties, been there a year, took a one week vacation and came home to a much better tractor. Home every night and weekend running regional in S. WI. He likes them. So there is one for the home team.

I may be wrong, but I think Standard Forwarding is the house carrier for John Deere. At least for the Quad Cities manufacturing facilities.SF is union so they get the freight from JD,for anything dedicated for the regions that SF services. At least that's what I have told by a SF driver.
