Outsider's don't need a round trip ticket. My friend pulls our pups as an owner op. He told central not to give him hot loads. He said to give those hot loads to the hero's and give him the stuff that runs during the daylight hours. (he just want's to run west Texas and back) Central don't use him very much anymore. My friend said he's ok with that.

A couple of weeks ago I had central dispatch put me out of service in Chicopee Ma. for the weekend. I should have been out at 080. Why would they forget about me for the whole weekend. On Monday I was asked what I was doing in 080.....has this ever happened to anyone else and if so how often does it happen anywhere else? Coulkd this be happening during the week also? Are drivers getting lost on the dispatch board somehow?

Are Estes hiring??? I called the toll-free number on the back of the trailers. They informed me they were hiring in Washington, PA. I called the terminal and they said they weren't hiring. Damn it.

come on people and look at the BIG picture...
we are not hiring right now, we are taking applications right now..
this is for...
when YRC closes, estes wants to have people set in place to be hired and hopes to handle the freight increase. Estes dropped the ball when CF shut down and could not handle the increased freight levels then. They want to be prepared for YRC.
