Default Framingham 080 is closing: Split up into two

It's official...
The rathole that is the Framingham (Boston) terminal is going away. It will be split into two, half going west to a town called Shrewsbury, and half will move closer, and just south of Boston, in the town of Avon. Construction crews are tearing through these old Roadway terminals like through a tin horn.

If any of you have passed through Framingham, you know how bad it is. Cops getting shot on the property, prostitutes, drugs..

( insert joke here )

They are a great group of freight shakers over there, and hats off to Gordon J for putting such a solid, long lasting crew together over the years.

Good luck to the boys from Boston!

I know my post was a little heartless but after reading legshot's post I was thinking those folks had the option to transfer. If not, I hope the best for them. Lots of jobs up that way. I don't know about anyone else but I like taking my breaks in lower cime areas with the exception of Miami. lol

If everyone keeps their job this is great news , that place was a pain in the *** especially when it was dark. Hooking sets in the snow with little or no light, always looking over your shoulder , not to mention just inconvienient to get into.
