Watkins tops out at .56 cents per mile. It takes 10 years with that company to get it though.

Ya I was glad to see the Watkins boys jump back in and get the name back on the road after they sold the LTL co. to FX.

Is that what happen to those boys,I wasnt really sure,thought they just went belly up,never really heard anything bad about them.

Ya FXN is the old Watkins LTL. The Watkins boys made a bundle selling the LTL side to FX.
They still own Highway Transport tankers and a reefer outfit to, can't think of the name right now.
But they got back into dry TL here a few months ago with the Watkins name back on the door.
Dang good looking equipment to. Maxed out O/O speced. Volvos

I've got a fishing buddy that drove for Watkins LTL for over 25yrs. Him and I ran Char. to Knx. and back together every night thru the gorge for years.
Man that company treated their drivers better than ANY I ever saw. I used to tease him all the time about being spoiled rotten.
He's gonna retire from FXN here in a few more years I reckon.
