The tornado that ripped through Gaston County missed the Charlotte Center by about 6 miles. If you travel down I-85 , you can see where it crossed the interstate about the 26 milemarker.

That's the 2nd tornado to hit a fedex terminal this year. FXNL's Jackson, Tennesee terminal was completely wiped out a couple of months ago.
