Fair & Equal runs for west drivers
I'm not too sure how they made up some of the
runs. I ain't kollege edgeamakated.
It seems a lot of drivers will loose substancial income
annually.
Mostly all drivers are unhappy or saddened that the
runs are severly shorter than before.
The fact of the matter is the freight needs to move
and the driver's need to work.
I can understand change but to force drivers to become
a full time dockworker is not good.
Some drivers will get 80 total miles give or take. With a few
hours on the dock.
How can someone support a family on that? It seems
that the chosen 10 that went to Harrison are going to
be fine with their runs. It's the 51 or so drivers displaced
and the bottom half of every service center road board
that will suffer.
Business is business but someone should have made it
fair, to the best of their ability to have "people first"
instead of leaving loyal employees out in the cold.
I'm puzzled by some of the runs. I hope everyone
can make a living on the new changes. Good luck
to you all.
