Con-Way to close 40 service centers by December


FedEx Freight is next. FedEx will be closing terminals in different states, starting in Arkansas. They only plan on having 5-7 terminals left in Arkansas when it is all done. There are 17 terminals in Arkansas right now. Too many terminals too close together. The next state is North Carolina to close centers. I don't know what N.C has to do with anything. This information is coming from people in Harrison that make these kinds of decisions. I don't want to argue with anyone, I am just letting people know what I know. It is already starting, RVL is the first to go down.
