I thought harrison was suppose to be full of smart people. Why did it take them 3 days to figure out that I-80 is not the only way to get to denver or salt lake. I just shake my head at the way they do things. Are we not in the buissiness to haul freight or to sit on it because of a little thing called snow. Is the problem someone is to brow beat to make the decession or are they just not that smart. funny how other companys were running over to grand jct. then up to salt lake 2 days before fedex did. Now they are trying to play catch up and they just don't have the man power with all the driver's being dockworkers and all the dockworkers trying to be linedrivers. jmo. just would like to understand their way of running a comp. lets piss off the employees and the customers for doing stupid stuff instead of thinking about how it's going to either hurt or help the comp. Hopefully the new pres. will rethink what has been done and find a way to fix all the little problems to make the comp. work as one not one dept. fighting with another. Don't get me wrong i like my job and like it here at fedex just wish they would get it together and start working like one. but that is just my wish list doubt that will happen but i hope.

They don't understand how the west could be more efficient if they let us have some leeway.

Why can't I stop in Pasco when I have freight for them and dive within one mile of SC to give them their freight. The freight will go 185 miles pass Pasco to Portland only to reworked and put another trailer for another 185 mile trip 'Humm".

Why does freight come Montana to Seattle only to go back to Pasco "Humm".

Why does the freight from the south go through Portland to Seattle bound for Spokane why not run it the shortest shortest route "Humm".

How come We don't have as many vias to best serve the comstomers. "Who" if I thinking correctly our costumers make our paychecks happen "Humm".

After all clc wants us to wait for closed roads and take the shortest route possible "SO WAKE UP HARRISON".

your more then right they are so smart they got it all figured out. and runn such a tight ship. They think they are going to get bigger and be best but with there smart way of thinking and not willing to listen and look hard at what they are doing they will never be as big as they want to. and that's the damm truth.

I must have missed a meeting. Lets review: Fedex bought Viking Freight, and left it alone. Then Fedex bought American Freightways, and left it alone. Then the disasters east-west merger. The east shut down Viking's HQ in Santa Clara, and line haul in Tucson and we had to except 99.9 percent of the east's way of doing business. I think that does qualify as a hostile takeover. TP
