My post states that WE (the East side of FedEx Freight Inc.) have made numerous changes since the buyout in the early 2000's. Each and every year, we have made changes..
It was an answer to your statement of the East not making changes..
Not sure how you see that as being a smart**s.. well, maybe I do.. My membership here has been paid in full.. (Thanks Friend!)... It comes with full smarta** rights... (at least until Familyman or Smokestack smack my hands.. sorry guys) |
Some are unable to shrug off the past as easily as others. It's more romantic to think that we once all belonged to something better than what we are a part of now.
Someday maybe we get split up again and we all look back at this period of time as being the 'good old days.'
In the beginning it seemed as if we were all just a loose affiliation operating under the auspices of a large benevolent corporation. I remember Fred S saying that there may be some minor brand affiliation attached to each of us but that would be it. Shortly thereafter all of the rims on our tractors went from red to white. It marked the beginning of the end of two fine companies. But it also signified the beginning of one great company. Growing pains are a natural occurrence whenever this sort of assimilation takes place. We are currently in experiencing the death throes of resistance. At some point we will fall into acceptance and that is when we will truly shine as a company.
I like you Gtr.. I have watched you for years and I appreciate your stalwart support for the company as a whole. I'm glad you're a manager who is still willing to listen.
