You're right, driver appreciation week is held in conjunction with the NTDC, but it's a national thing......not something either AF or Viking dreamed up. It also falls around Labor Day. So, my guess is next week. Now does that mean we'll get steak? Nah.....not even tube steak. But, I guess, that's just the deal these days.
looks like a purple promise to me "Gee thanks FedEx" the old days were better place to work and live. I sure wish the new cow could learn some new tricks.
Had a preshift today that said no bonus for this year. They went on to say be happy we didn't take a pay reduction since most other companies did. So I guess that's our bonus. It seems to me lately they are becoming more straight forward about the way things are communicated to us
There is no reason to show appreciation from the companies stand point. You should be lucky to have a job. Apathy, has taken over in this company. It is running free like a wild fire, they have destroyed the morale, and built a wall between all aspects of operations from sales to city to dock to road.....
