After 24yrs. Fed Ex Frt showed me the door. You know corporates' reason "workforce reduction due to the economy". Bull! I was there when Viking decided to go nationwide overnite. We almost lost our arse over that. I wasn't let go during those dark times. There's no justification for what Fed Ex did in my case, regardless of what they're make as they go policies state. I was pushed out and replaced by part-timers w/o benefits. So much for loyalty. In the end my seniority was my demise in the companies eyes. I don't want you to think I'm Goin Postal, Just Fed Up. I'm gettin on, and finding out that there is life after Fed Ex. I just hope for the best for those of you who have trying to weather the Fed Ex storm.

your hire date at your terminal say you where hired on1 1 01at one place then decided to transfer to a warmer climate and did so on1 1 09 your seniority would start from there at that center forced to transfer you would dove tail to company time still keep vac time and all that in other words you couldn't just bounce around from one center to another with company time

I was a former driver with current class A license. No offer to drive. The only choices I had was to accept a part-time position w/o benefits, take a 180 day lay-off, or terminate with a 12 week severance pay. I chose the later.
