We have gone to our ops manager's and to the assistant manager and center manager but their hands are tied and are doing their best like everyone else is. We know if we go to Mike D were probably going to be fired. Corporate HR says to go to local HR but We havent seen our HR guy since he started a month ago for all many of us know he may not even work there anymore.

The problems we are haveing is that we don't have the equipment to service the customer. They parked 6 city trucks and now wont give them back becuase the numbers arent high enough to support it. Were moving more bills per night now than we were a year ago. We also dont have enough X vans. to service our freight. We are told by the regional that we dont need any more because were using them to load as trap trailers. We do this because we dont have anywhere else to put the freight that has to be held before delivery. Next week we have two bigh customers that will need 50 vans Mike D. gave permission to go and rent 5 vans. We have to ops. managers that know what they are doing and what needs to be done while we (Horn, Garrett) while we have another ops managers who couldnt plan a correct way to get out of a paper bag.(Brian N.). Some how he has managed to fool someone into thinking he was good at his job.

I have added more info than what was realy need in the hopes that maybe someone in Harrison might read this. Drivers and Red shirts are tired and getting pissed and ready to walk or vote if things dont change. Were also pissing off customers because were not delivering till late and not picking up until late.
Mike D. His boss is F. Hurst. (Division VP) out of CGX. But you will get about same answer. This problem is throughout the system. Personally it's the companies fault for our failures. harrison is never proactive. It was the same way with AF. I never understood the concept. It always seems to be 911 after the fact. I would make my voice heard but with respect to the authority. Do the best you can. Personally I would hand out Mike D's cell phone to the customer let them call him themselfs, just let them know it is out of your hands.

Forgot all about that! A selcect few are still having meetings concerning the last one, and nothing has come from that at all. We're assured that our concerns are being addressed. At least it's an extra hour for those involved.

Why is that Mike? Since managers won't listen, and HR isn't in place for hourly employees, what other avenue do we have?

What I've done has made me a lot happier at work. I don't care anymore. In this case, it's not the driver's concern that his SC doesn't care enough about the customer to service them. All I would do is tell the customer to call into the SC and complain to the head redshirt. It won't get them anywhere, but then they can go over his/her head and call the regional manager. That will at the very least generate a phone call to the SCM. After that get's them nowhere, they can continue to pester the regional person.

But day to day, it's easier and blood pressure lowering to just give up and watch the antics as they unfold.

You have to do a little research before you call the In Touch Number you have to go on the Intranet link on the computor in the drivers room and go to the page were it list all the FXF officers...and choose 4 or 5 of them wisely....if its safety issues, choose the name of some safety officers...

If for any reason any of you ever call the in touch number to leave comments make certain that the person hearing your comments or complaints on the other side of the phone knows that you want the 4 or 5 officers of the company C.C.d (carbon copied)........if you don't do this what you say just gets kicked back to your local H.R. Rep. and this case he's not accountted for....so your issues will fall on deaf ears.........
