I have a question for any of the FedEx ground drivers that are independent contractors. The main argument is since FedEx requires you to purchase like vehicles, like uniforms and conform to the rules and regulations of the company you should be employees. I see that the court has ruled in your favor.

If this is the case will that mean McDonalds franchises that are required to use only corporate approved products be allowed to purchase and sell different products or let’s say a Shell gasoline station franchise owner be allowed to sell BP gas .

I am confused since most franchise owners are required by the corporate office to use the approved logos, approved uniforms etc how are the FedEx Ground drivers any different.

I am not trying to be a smart elic but it sure seems that you guys want your cake and eat it too.
I apologize if this has already been asked but since this whole thing started with the lawsuits against FedEx I have wondered and figured no way the courts would rule in favor but now since they have I am really puzzled.
