Moonlighting: Conflict of Interest, How to beat it..
I work for the express side and its considered a conflict of interest to work for any FedEx subsidiaries.
My question is what is the method used for discovering if an employee is working for in this case a subsidiary? The only thing I'm coming up with is the insurance coverage from both companies.
The reason for me asking is that I'm looking for another job to supplement my income and had the worst luck looking for a job that would allow me to use my cdl license and stay with express. I was shot down again today b/c of my one year on road experience driving with a CDL license.
My options to get some income coming in right away is work for a subsidiary company. Ground and Freight in Denver, CO are hiring now and I'm coming close to applying at one of these facilities.
Is there anyway such as declining benefits with ground to get around this issue of conflict of interest?
