Last week the Bush administration won a Supreme court battle that allows mexican trucks to run 48 states. It is suppose to start in less than two months. 100 mexican carriers say they are already approved and certified. The feds say they will inspect each truck at the border for insurance, saftey, cargo, and the driver will be tested for the ability to read and write and speak english, and the drivers license, will get a background check. Excuse me but, The last time I went down south of the border there was no data base like we have here and in Canada that contains a drivers driving informatin and endorsments. What will happen in the future to our wages and benifits ?
