I have been watching this forum since it was Watkins, I was a linehaul contractor since before Fedex arrived, but not so long after.
Just wanted to point out how immature most of you sound. As soon as Fedex arrived, you were whining about senority, benefits, when do we get our uniforms, who gets the best bids, wah, wah, wah........
Here is the deal....in a declining market, with a slowdown in trucking coming, with the drivers from south of the border coming in, the last to leave Fedex will not have a job or a friend anywhere. You should all make plans to leave, and network amongst yourselves to get a foot in a new door.
I was among the first to leave when the handwriting was put up on the wall, and I now am with a company much older than Watkins, with better pay. Scoff at me like you did Tundra, but I laugh at your whininess.
