Being a newbie to Team Runs i was in a situtation this week in wyo. We got all the way to the 36 Mile Marker in Wyo and they shut the road down in front of me so i figured they would be shut down for the night so i turned around and when back to Little America Truckstop. Called and got on delay time right away. Call the motel there. Could have got a room for 80 bucks (Motel jacked the rates up later to 125), but they didnt take Corporate Lodging Card. If I got the room I think I would have been rememburisted by the company.So here is my question. Do I get delay time and a motel room? (I sleep real good on company time) or do i have to sit in the truck to be paid delay time and tag team with my partner for the bunk? Do I get both? delay and the room or do i pick one, get delay time and pay for the room out of my own pocket? That hot shower and warm breakfast was better than sitting in that truck all night LOL
