Will this actually effect linehaul drivers since we already interline so much between the two companies? Looks like it would only effect city drivers that are already at capacity.

In a sense it will effect some LH drivers. I don't think it will impact them much but it will actually take away from some of those really short runs like runs under 100 miles each way.

The drivers won't need to chase freight that is going to plus points any longer and they will only be getting their own frieght. Like I said it will not impact them much if any.

hmmmmm ....

FXN going back to a stand alone company.

I just wonder .... will there be a .... SOLD ... sign, since people find out after the fact that they were for sale.

Why would they give freight back to a company being sold? This doesn't make much sense to me but maybe I just don't see the big picture. Maybe YRC is buying us or even better maybe watkins is buying us back. The latter of the two would be a dream come true.

I don't have the answer, maybe it does not make sense, but buying watkins to haul freight to places that we were already hauling to at watkins cheaper rate does not make sense either ...

good luck
