Seems as though FXNL will be getting back all the areas we used to run in the city. This could mean a lot to some centers and others it may not of had much of an effect on. All those areas we used to call "plus points" which we used to run and FXF currently does, we will be getting those back.

what proof do you have of this taking place

i saw the new service maps posted in terminal. they didnt say when it would take affect but it will be nice to get it back we lost alot of zips

Zoots has it spot-on.. many FXNL 'exchange' points that have been directed to FXFE will once again be direct points.

This is opco specific, meaning if FXNL has a dest zip of BR549, FXNL will provide direct service. Likewise, if FXFE picks up a shipment for BR549 that they've always serviced sinced the acquistion, they will also provide direct service. Just an expansion of dual-served zips, with no exchange, like in many metro areas.

This allows for a larger marketing footprint for FXNL, albeit with perhaps higher operating costs for both due to lack of density.

I heard it straight out of my terminal managers mouth that our old P&D territory would return to close to the origianl size.

I guess this means I don't need to provide proof now...lol
