This is a second attempt by the Teamsters.
They failed last time they will fail again.

Reduced accidents are hard to argue against.

We did 600 miles plus (not here) when it was 10 before. FedEx will have to turn the trucks up to go faster. I doubt the courts will want to change being that the industry has the lowest accident rate in history, but who knows.

Why don't we just double it to 22 driving, then they can pay half as much and we'll still make the same money? What is it about truck drivers that makes them think they're doing good when they are actually working 2 jobs?

I don't get it. Who are you talking about? I work 47.5 driving hours a week. Just because we don't want them to go back to 10 driving hours doesn't mean we want to work more.

It wouldn't affect me, but I still like the new rules over the old.
