Black ice isn't a myth, when in doubt head for the motel, no black ice there, lol.
It was reported in the original thread that until that spot there had been no ice, driver was not even cited by police and finished run, but was fired.
Cop stopped in drive lane, was hit by a car spinning cruiser around facing and blinding on coming traffic in center lane, when FX truck came up the only lane available was the right lane which was too little too late on ice....

PS I was in Jamaica at the time and saw it on the news there, best place to be in the winter, somewhere nice and warm, lol.
