I thought you food service guys would enjoy my experience delivering at a Long John Silver/ A&W. I work for Big R as a p&d driver and yesterday I was sent out with the liftgate to deliver a Frialator to LJS/A&W and when I got there I Told the manager I was there to deliver this equipment to him and he pointed to the back of the restaurant and said put it over there. I proceeded to tell the manager that he only paid for me to get this machine on the ground off my trailer and it was his responsibilty after that. He had shock in his eyes and said that the truck drivers were supposed to bring it inside the store. I then told him he was referring to his food service delivery drivers not a freight hauler. So I put his new equipment on the ground had my b.o.l. signed and was on my way. I love my job!!!!!!
