I've know Gonzo for many years. He is a great driver with a ton of skill and knowledge. He has always quietly helped out the younger guys. He is a good man. He has always had a unique ability to think ahead of management and stay three steps in front. He was a rebel in his time but now remains quiet and just wants to play out the rest of his career with the least amount of stress possible. It has been a long time since he caused premature hair loss to management. He will be missed when he finally hangs up his keys for good. Those of us who have worked many years with John, love him like a brother, and only wish him the best. Teamster Elvis out....ps. He was a combat veteran from the Vietnam war, and I believe G.I. has been his only employer. Well other than Estes.
