Default true story

First time I unloaded flour it was down by Louisville at pilsbury. I started unloading then quickly pluged up, I shut the blower off relieved the the pressure and preceeded to walk to the back of the trailer to uncouple the hose. soon as I started to uncouple it the guy next me said wait don't.... next thing I know a puff of back pressure pushed a cloud of flour out and covered me. both the guys next to me were holding their guts trying not to laugh. one of the guys walked up to me and said "welcome to flour hauling" as he laughed.

well alright!cant believe there's some working truck drivers on the boards.....

i can see you right now with all that pastie stuff.....

ive just recently got back into bulk hauling cement,i enjoy this type of hauling more than anything ive ever done.the pay's fair, the hometime is somthing i havent had in 21 years.everyday.
anyway, enough of the bla bla crappola...
the first time i ever hauled cement was back in 97,supost to follow this proffeser up to duram nc so he could show me how to geter done.
it was a small silo, not a lot of pressure to unload, anyway,i worked with this idiot for 2 years,he couldent unload nothing!!!if you knowed he was 2hrs in front, you know something was gonna be plugged!
at durhm i pulled up were he had been for about 10 min, shure enough hed done plugged it up...
the damn dummy had been doing this for some time, and still hadent remember to (ALLWAYS BLEED YOUR PRESSURE OFF TANK BEFORE UNCOUPLING ANYTHING!!!)
anyway, i was walking up,he had already poped 1 ear,and was shaking on the other at the line going up to silo (PLOOF!!!)
he just stood there for a second, tured around in slow motion, and started batting those eyes, looked like a ratcoon on rabies..
i had to walk away get in my truck and try to sit in my seat instead of falling over i was laughing so hard.
it was about 42%outside when he was washing the stuff off.....

I worked for Bulkmatic for for 2 years, they pay by the %of the load,I think it was around 24%,flour,fly ash, plastic pellets this pays good, you have to learn how to unload from rail cars, sometimes waiting on the railroad .It pays very well if you have to go somewhere and vac out somebody's solo, about 40 an hr yes,we always took our sweet time doing this.Very heavy loads, the more you load, the more you got pay.Always 80000and very easy to turn one over, because there top heavy. You have to be very safe around those tanks, because of the high pressure you use to unload,no joke
