Default Plating Question

I posted this in the Waterhole but it got deleted (I'm guessing it belongs here, so I'll retype it).

I'm starting a contract with a company in Ontario, and the company will be providing the plates for the trucks and billing me for the insurance, which makes sense.
What I'm debating doing is buying and financing the vehicles in the States, and using those. So... heres the question.
If the vehicle is registered in the US and not Canada (most states I've seen wont give you the Title until the vehicle is paid), is it still possible to insure/plate it? Anybody have experience with this? I know if I pay for it outright I can register it here and stuff, but the Lein Title I havent done yet.
Thanks

Edit: If this thread gets deleted, I'd appreciate an email or PM letting me know the reason so I dont make the same mistake later.

mwarrior, This site is geared towards LTL drivers. You might have better luck posting this question at our sister site. There are many more long haul and O/O over there that may be able to answer your question
