Seems like the best LTL companies are...

New Penn & Yellow freight in my opinion. I have been following this board for almost a year. My main objective was to get a better idea of possibly changing my career to being a driver. I wanted to get employees opinions to make a decision on who I would make my main objective in getting a job. When I was younger I drove class B & have been in logistics for 25 years now. It would seem from the outside looking in they really do not have as many complaints as the other companies by far. After doing some research and reading many many posts I think my decision is made. If and when I were to get back into driving my main objective would be to work for one of the two. The pay & benefits seems to be outstanding along with the moral. Nothing against the other LTL companies but this is my opinion.

I have also been following these boards.I will have to go with ups,because i haven't read anything of being laid off.Yellow,roadway,abf does seems to be the better of them all looking from the outside in,but being laid off seem if your the low man trying to get as bid
can of make me wonder is it worth working for these companies.I need a steady paycheck.I cannot go for a month or two without income unless i made enough money while i was working.
