A degree in business, finance, or marketing would be ideal. I would suggest a major in finance (money makes the world go 'round) and minor in either business or marketing. You can use the knowledge anywhere and for your own personal gain as well. These fields may be boring, but with all the money you'll make, you can have all the fun you want! Whatever you do or wherever you go network - meet people with skills/knowledge like yours or better, or in different career fields - exchange contact info. Which basically helps in the "it's not what you know, it's who you know" area. You'll be amazed at how much this helps when you get older. Last but not least, make a good first impression. Forget about looking cool in the business world. No tongue, lip, or eyebrow piercings. If you get a tattoo, keep it somewhere that your clothes will cover up - upper arm, chest, back, or shoulders. Keep it off of your neck, forearms, fingers, wrist, and hands. I have kids your age and older than you, and I'm always impressed when kids have an idea of what they want to do.
I know it sounds like a lot, but you'll hear it again. Good luck Alex! Stay focused on your goals and you'll be very successful. Be sure to drop in and let us know how things are going for you.
