New Driver with felony

My brother has just ben released frm prison. His felony does not involve drugs, driving or commercial vehicles. Where should he start out trying to get a driving job or is it even possible, in California? He is willing to drive anything, even garbage trucks. You don't need a TSA check for garbage truck, right?

Does he want to run OTR or just local? I would imagine a lot of it would depend on the trucking company and what their insurance company is willing to insure. Also depends on what they are hauling. I know there's is a local OTR company where I live that hire ex cons but they can't haul certain loads.

back in 1991 I had a felony .I had trouble last year getting in LTL
BUT in 04 I had no trouble with CR England,and also a construction company
said yeah so what when I told them I had a felony.
