Default Unwritten rules of trucking

I thought I'd start this thread for those truck drivers that don't show common courtesy's on the road. So I'll start.

When coming on from a ramp and I get over into the hammer lane so you can get on without you having to slow down. Don't leave me out in the hammer lane for 4 miles until you built up enough speed to pull past me. I hate that. Usually done by TL drivers. Next.

I once had a TL driver sit in his truck for about 15minutes while backed into the only loading door at a company.

I saw him doing his paperwork and talking on the phone so I assumed he was getting loaded. When he was done with his paperwork he started up his truck and drove away.

This genius blocked the door for over 15 minutes while other trucks waited. I guess it was too much effort for him to pull to the side and let someone else back in.

Drivers that pass me and turn their darn turn signal on to pull back over before they ever get half way by me and start wiggling across on my side of the road. Why do they do this on a 4 lane highway? What's the big hurry to get back over?

Just because I sit at the counter at the truck stop doesn't mean I want to engage in a conversation with you. Maybe I just want to watch the weather channel and eat my ham and cheese omelette.

As a driver that has pups 90% of the time finding a truckstop with pull thoughs are few and far between.

Park in a back-in if you have a long or single. Leave the wide open spaces next to the scales or such for us wiggle wagons

Pull forward when you finish fueling.

Don't block the pumps to get your coffee, chat on the phone, or take a shower.

TURN OFF YOUR PHUCKKIN HEADLIGHTS if someone is backing in next to you.......DAMN IT DRIVER!!!

Don't drive like a 4 wheeler
