Thumbs down A view of bad things to come, brothers!

"Aguirre-Giraldo -- a truck driver for Industrias Suarez. Sa" ?

That says all I need to know about the NAFTA invasion forces that will be driving trucks, and wages, down here for the American trucker.

Get used to much more of this sort of bad news, folks.

I know that fatality accidents, happen even to experienced drivers, but oftimes it is not the drivers fault as in this case.

You want cheap freight, you gotta expect "cheap" drivers busting all the rules.

venuspcs is on a distinguished road
Default

It is a sad sad day when inferior equipment, inferior drivers and inferior regulations are allowed to become realized and ruin the already tattered reputation of honest, hard working truck drivers. Not to mention the financial impact on those drivers.

One thing to note though, the Mexican trucks will only be allowed to deliver there load into America and then pick up a load headed back to Mexico. Just like Canadian trucks. Additionally, Mexican trucks will be required to meet DOT Regulations (for safety, equipment and HOS) while inside the USA.

But the largest impact will be the near instant drop of loads from around America to the many border cities....oh wait THAT'S A GOOD THING! No more getting stuck in Laredo, Narales, San Diego, etc. for days waiting on a load out.....WOOHOO!!!
