Okay here is my situation, I am a 35 year old truck driver (with 2.5 years OTR experience). In 2003 I got a speeding ticket for '15+ Over' while in a commercial vehicle. Then in 2006 (January 9th) I had a bad wreck in my personal car. The wreck wasn't my fault but the judge in the small Texas town was a Golf Buddy of the dump truck driver that pulled out in front of me. As a reward for almost losing my life and getting ejected from my car into the bottom of the dump truck at 45 mph I was found guilty for the accident which resulted in points on my license and now no one will give me a driving job.
I am currently homeless, living in truckstops (until they run me off) and in desperate need of a job. I am not asking for anything other than a CHANCE TO WORK but if things don't change soon (haven't eaten in 2 days) I will have to start begging out of sheer desperation.
I am currently at the Flying J in Temple, GA on I-20 (West of Atlanta). If there are any Owner Ops or Independants out there that will give me a job I would greatly appreciate it....A referal to some company that will hire me would be equally appreciated.
