Default Your favorite Dispatcher quote

I'd have to say my favorite quote is when a dispatcher will say when they ask you if you can make that run. I say no. Then they "Well the last driver did it " Next ?

When I've got an ugly delivery and you ask the dispatcher if the customer has a way to unload it the standard answer is "oh yeah, they've got a crew there waiting for you"

Usually when that happens there is a 65 year old man there asking where the thing on the back of the truck that goes up and down is.

Default Lol........

"Stop looking in your crystal ball." The Dispatcher said this to my husband because my husband told him he couldn't make it in 15 Min. through Wash. DC area during drive time and a snow storm. Guess looking out the window had nothing to do with driving....

Default "Floor Load"

The terminal manager in Chicago told me the load was on skids, so I accepted the dispatch. At the shipper, I discovered it would be a "floor load" that required "fingerprinting" at both the shipper and receiver. The terminal faked dismay when he said on the phone, "Why those blankety-blank blank blank blank!" (Yeah, I cleaned that up.)
