Default Fog Lights

I've noticed a trend among drivers recently of using fog lights in clear weather. Fog lights are mounted low on the front of the truck and are designed to shoot light underneath the fog to iluminate the lines on the road. They are not meant to be used in clear weather and are distracting and annoying to other drivers. Please be considerate.

I have them on my personal vehicles they never get turned on. I hate them also; I figure that it would blind someone else also, sometimes when another vehicle comes in the other direction with them on(fog lights) I will flash my fog lights, normally they just put the high beams on, nice really nice.

Default Fog lights

I have decided that when I retire I'm going to travel around to truck stops everywhere with my tiny hammer and break out all the fog lights on every truck and car,p/u truck I can find thats how much I can't stand them.

P.S. I'll make sure the owner/drivers of said vehicles are IN the facility, after all by the time I get to retire I'll be 80 and an 80 year old can't fight like he once could.

I used to get on the CB and tell them : "Nice lights for gay rights,Show that loving support" I laugh at those who say they can't turn them off because they have no switch. To that I say bull Crap.So my revenge was once I retired I went to advanced auto and bought a pair of 150watt replacement bulbs and aimed my driving lights high on my pick up so now when someone comes up behind me with them on I just turn them on and let the other guy pass and then I follow them for awhile at a distance far enough that my lights bother them. You can tell by the way they swerve around on the road trying to get the lights out of their view. Its like turn signals. If the other guy doesn't want to use them then why should I ?

I really amazes me how many people out on the roads have no business driving on them. I guess the DMV needs the $$$ more then we drivers need more safe drivers on the road.

As the old saying goes: "Follow the money" !
