Default Ford CEO: $28M for 4 months work ?

America ! We need to get our heads out of our Azzs and start boycotting these companys for this crap.Does anyone really think these people deserve that kind of reward for shafting the American working Man ? I never understood when a company has a bad year or so the first person they want to punish is the worker. Wouldn't suprise me if they cut 30,000 jobs here and eventually move them to good ole MEXICO.maybe the Mexicans will buy all the cars then.Yeah Right.

His base salary was $666,667, which works out to annual pay of about $2 million. He also received restricted stock grants, which the company valued at $920,404, as well as 3 million stock options valued at $7.8 million. The stock options are not yet exercisable, and they have an exercise price of $8.28, or about 4 percent above current prices.

The details of the compensation packages and costs come as Ford moves ahead with plans to close plants and cut more than 30,000 hourly positions from the company in an effort to stem losses.

I think its crazy that one man being worth that to any corperation, but don't blame the man for his windfall. The board of directors that hired him and agreed to pay that sum of money needs to be thrown out on their A$$es faster than he can cash his checks. The people that hire these people are the problem. We just see what they agreed to pay that person after the fact.
