question about werner

i have been talking to werner about training. can anyone give me the good bad and ugly on them.

MHO. Run don't walk the other way. Too many horror stories and seen too many seat warmers they have turned loose that needed another 6months training.

What do you mean, Werner training is great, you get all done and cant run a log book.

Werner is somewhere in the middle as far as trucking goes, IMO.

I you can get a steady route pulling rail out of one of the yards with JB Hunt or Schnider you will be doing OK.

Just dont hook up with Swift. Ever. They are famous for filing false DAC reports after you quit.

Also, once you complete "The Swift Academy" you will wait for a trainer, Ive talked with guys that waited 6-7 weeks before going out on training truck. They have you locked if you sign that contract so they will make you wait and throw the guys off the street right out.

Next to maybe PAM or Swift Werner seems to have the worst drivers.No common-sense and little concept or regard for other traffic.Or at least that has been my experience.
