What is the deal with frieght in California? This year, our company has just not recovered from the general slow down we always see after the first of the year. I don't believe it's a company issue as many of our friends in other companies report the same problem.

I believe it is a California issue because once any of us are lucky enough to get a load out of california, miles are up and loads are plentiful and pay checks are good.

Any ideas? I'm curious more than anything why a slow down in frieght would seem to hit California in general and a nationwide issue.

California is in a ression no one talks about and people are leaving the state in droves as jobs and housing are out of control here.
