Default Optimized Idle Question?

I have just gone to work for a new company, and been assigned a 2007 Freightliner Century wit Optimized Idle. I can't sleep with this thing starting and stopping all night. I have heard there are ways to defeat this thing. I would appreciate step by step instructions on how to keep the truck running so I can get some sleep.
Thanks

One might try setting the trailer brakes first then releasing the tractor brakes. Sometimes this works on certain brands of tractors. Do not do that without being hooked up and the trailer brakes set

I've never heard this one before.(Optimized Idle) But what I used to do was set my breaks and tap my cruise control switch on.some models this works on and some models you have to release the tractor break.
Man am I glad those days are gone.

On my truck if you wait until the engine shutoff light starts blinking than step on the clutch the truck will stay on. It might work on yours.

at my old job we would set the trailer brake and rev up the engine to ~800rpm and set the cruise control to keep the engine running
