HI I have a delimma about 1 yr ago applied at truck company locally everything was good took the drug test during orientation they told me i needed to retest that it was diluted it came back diluted again which come to find out means you FAIL your drug test so anyways i got a new job and everything has been good but looking for a new one with benefits and now i find out that company put a failed drug test on my dac so far iam screwed everywhere i apply they seem to use dac any suggestions are there companies that dont use dac??

you need to get a lawyer for a defamtion law suit against these crooks.

Yea you"ll probally have to get a lawyer. As far as i know every trucking company uses the DAC report. Thats the way they usually find out how you"ll take care of their equipment. If you break an airline and your company finds out about it its reported on there.

Is it possible for the driver to find out what's on his DAC report? I'm just curious.

Im not really sure how to take a look at your DAC report. Maybe your company can get you a copy. A couple years ago my terminal manager called me while i sat in Laredo Texas waiting for a load and told me i was fired and had to get on a Greyhound bus to come home. To make a long story short, I had some choice words for him and sad his reports where wrong. The court house sent an incomplete report to DAC and DAC decided to take it upone themselves to fill it out. I sat in a hotel for 3 days while my wife took care of all my paperwork. As soon as i was cleared to drive home i started looking for a new job. I quite 2 weeks later!

You are allowed one copy of your DAC each year. (This is the same law that allows you a free credit bureau so you can dispute and monitor activity). Click here for the info.
