McLanedriver is on a distinguished road
Default Mclane's gone downhill

I've worked for this company over 15 years and it's gone downhill ever since we got this jerk president from N.Y. and a H.R. manager from Ca.He thinks we are overpaid!!and this company is so anti-union you can't even think of saying the word.Used to have Truck Rodeos and Driver Banquets.Costs too much. This guy sucks!!

Its good to see a fellow foodservice driver on here, this is a great place, I know you will enjoy it. Sorry to hear about the trouble, most companies are anit-union, no one wants to have to stick by their decisions and follow the rules, management that is, they don't want the people to have a process that holds them to it either, they want to change policy like they change their shorts.

We just got a new TM and he's talking the same old "drivers dont need helpers" "drivers are overpaid" "drivers are expendable" etc etc... If all that were true we wouldn't be hiring 365 days per year.

Sorry to hear that your work environment is changing for the worse. Unfortunately, you can look forward to it getting worse if the president thinks you're overpaid (no future raises or very little ones). I went through a similar situation before trucking. My former employer still sucks and my former colleagues are still miserable as ever. I hope that this guy is smart enough to keep up the morale instead of continuously cutting costs.

Former ProSource, Ameriserve, Sygma, MBM driver. Got smart about 5 years ago and went into LTL. Work for Roadway now. Best decision I ever made.
