Default Anyone here going to the NY State rodeo?

I was woundering where, and when it is this year?

I didn't sign up these last two years, because I don't get to do any practise where I'm at,and always do very bad.
The head of our safety wanted to know why I didn't sign up for it this year?
He says I should do well because I'm a city driver.
I told him in no way is that rodeo course like anything we city drivers do every day.

Nobody from my terminal is going, but I thought I may go to watch the ones who are doing it.
I can also be a judge on the course,if its not to hot that day.
But if anyone knows anything please let me know, thanks.

Apo a couple of the drivers from NBR have signed up. I believe it's in July in Batavia,NY. Don't know if I spelled it right. I was going to watch. But I'll be on vacation.

Thanks a lot Boats.
I know its been in Batavia for the last two,but I thought they were going to go to a different city this year?

I know the Buffalo TM has always been New York's leader of it.
I tryed to contact the safety trainer at the Buffalo terminal, but he never got back to me, so I thought I'd ask on the truckingboard.

When I did my safety training in PA.,last year we had to exchange all of our cell phone numbers with each other.
I've only called the Buffalo trainer once or twice to ask him different stuff.
Nobody from my terminal ever has any interest in it.

I think these truck rodeos are more of a southern thing?
Drivers in the north could care less, they work in a truck, and don't want to be in one on the weekends no matter whats going on.
