Default Hazmat Test

Do you have too know each ID class when taking the Hazmat endoresment test? I know the basic 9 but how hard is the test? Do you have know the divisions also?

i don't think so. its been a while since i took my test, and my next one isn't due till 2009.............generally they ask that if a load needs to placarded what would you need. for instance, you wouldn't put a cholrine placard on an explosives load, or a dangerous placard on a corrosive load, things like that.

Well I just took that test and scored 80% on the hazmat and 82% and the general knowledge. I would imagine that's a passing score. Thanks for the information.

in ohio yes that is a passing score.

I just took it about two weeks ago to renew my Hazmat endorsement on my CDL. In PA you need
to get 16 out of 20 correct, I think you will be fine.
Oh, and for the record, according to Homeland Security backround check, I am no threat to the USA. Those savages are allowed to work at JFK
but they are worried about us drivers. Do you really think if they were going to use a truck, they would even care a about a drivers license or the proper endorsements? All better now!!!!
