Are you talking about Kettleman City in Ca. I live in Fresno, 50 miles from there and from what I know of it theres not much there. It's in the middle of nowhere just a couple of restaurants and truckstops. If you're looking for work there Conway has the only yard there with a dock as far as I know. They might hire, most other carries use the town as meet point.

If you want to move to Kettleman City, you need to be fluent in Spanish.
I think you have to commute quite a ways, unless you find a farm house with the hay growers.
They better be paying you BIG bucks to transfer to that hell hole. Actually the whole state of California is getting to be as attractive as Kettlemen City.
