Smile i passed!!!!(permit)

as of today i now have my permit (A) with air.

now that i have what companys should i contact that will help help me to get the real license? and if some one does hire me since i could not find it in the book, on the permit can i drive out of the state or for now am i only limited to my state?

i know it might not be big deal to you guys but this is hugh to me!!!

Congrats, you might want to add haz-mat to it also.

Not sure what co's would be willing to train in your area but someone will be along soon to help I'm sure.

by law, you can only drive in your state with your permit. your best bet is the school way to go. no company will touch you for road driving if its out of your state. because now if you should happen to wreck, technically, you're driving without a license. and this can be a lawsuit in the making for any company. you can try some companies in your home state, but if they at any time cross state lines, you have to switch out with the other driver that should be with you.

thanks pro1driver i thought that is how it was but i wasn't sure.

as far as the haz-mat, yes i do want it but before i plunk any money down on getting it i am either go to a school with job placement, or become a company slave, and if i go that route i will have the company pay for the testing though i do know i will end up paying for it in the long run.
