The guys that I know personally that have done it like it, I only know 1 guy that got away from it, mgmt. issues, once guys get into it alot of them stick with it in one way or another, low 20's per hour is good money, you can't make that around here hauling fuel.

I don't think you could pay me enough to haul fuel. We just had a big tanker rollover accident last weekend about 5 miles from here. The fire was so hot it damaged the overpass bridge it happened on and now I-74 is shut down.

I don't think it's worth it to me...

Where?

Trinity and Klemm, are definetely full of crap and most of the fuel haulers around us are 'by the load' meaning you wait in line for free, you load and unload for free, and it pays the same no matter what happens.

I would believe avg. 15 an hour.

Look into it.....

My friend works at Klemm. He said Tank Transport and Klemm requires 3 yrs experience and Trinity requires two years and I'm approaching the two year mark myself.

Tank transport sounds the most lucrative to me being union (local 200). I asked him if Tank Trans is a part of CSPF and he had no idea. I wonder if the Local 200's office would have a copy of their contract handy. It would be a while before I could even be serious about getting into TT but I might as well look into it.

I would call down to the hall and ask for their B.A. I think they just ratified a new contract. If you work for Klemm themselves you are better off than driving for someone who leases trucks to them for sure. Good luck, and Holland is hiring if you don't mind working nights, PM me if you need any other info, bro.
