It's very tragic that a child has died but something just does not sound right about this story.

Knowing how this business operates I see no way how a driver can do that much damage and not have enough damage on the truck to have it show. Secondly, it should have been fairly easy to narrow down the drivers it could have been based on the road they were driving. I know this would probably only narrow it down to hundreds of possible drivers but if you took that info plus a damaged truck and the time of day I would think it would be fairly easy for detectives to find something.

It didn't sound right to me either. I'm sure the truth will come out soon, one way or the other.

Having spent most of my trucking life in the northeast I can tell you this....whenever you have problems on the road... always blame a R truck.
