 Advice on OTR summer job for teacher
My favorite summer job in college was tractor trailer driving. Last year I tried it again for a local company delivering sawdust to horse farm suppliers and really enjoyed it. This year I got my dream job, cross-country East to West coast runs, but the small company didn't have enough work, so I only made one run. Any ideas on how to get an OTR summer job next year that has business? Is there a forum for linking owner operators who want partners with temporary guys like me? In reading the stats on turnover in trucking, the 7 weeks I can work may be close to the average time full time truckers work at a given company anyway. Any thoughts? |
