I spend 16 years with Schneider and have nothing, but good things to say about them.
When I started with them they didn't even have the computers in the trucks and all their trucks were cabovers! In fact I was one of the first to get the conventionals when they ordered them.
I left the trucking industry and started my own company now, but the road still calls my name :)
Schneider's a great company, benefits are great, opportunities within the company are great, and all their facilities are first class.
Have you been in other companies facilities? They don't compare.
There's other great companies out there too though. Don't just take my word on Schneider. Check around. What I say comes from my personal experience.
BTW I didn't go thru the Schneider training program...I paid for training out of my own pocket at the tune of $6500 for 9 weeks of training. I can't comment on their training program, but if they still have the skid pad training...that's great.
