Fiance is a truck driver - Need pointers

Hi, all:
My fiance is a newbie truck driver, now working for a local company doing local deliveries. But he really wants to drive all around the country in a big truck.

I support him to follow his dream, and I'm beginning to learn about the industry. But, with him having to be on the road for extended periods, What can I expect our married life to be like? What should I be aware of? Any tips will be appreciated.

You have a great day too! Like I said in the other thread the LOADS (Loved Ones and Drivers Support) is a great site for those left at home and apart from their truckie.

But please know we here will be glad to try and answer your questions and give as much support as we can too :)
